If you woke up this morning
with only the things you'd said 'thank you' for yesterday,
what would your life be like?
I would probably have my housemates, but no house to put them in.
I might have my Sunday meal, but no water to drink.
I would have my friends, but no clothes.
Awkward.
Oh, I just realised it wouldn't matter anyway because I wouldn't be breathing.
So often, we forget to say 'thank you' for the things God gives us. We take so much for granted that, when it boils down to it, we hardly notice life at all. Take time today to pay attention to life's little blessings. You have many more gifts than you could ever say 'thank You' for. But try anyway.
